Someplace Safe depends upon community members like you who are interested in:
Crisis Line Volunteer:
- Manage Crisis Line after normal business hours
- Crisis Intervention
- Legal Advocacy - information on protection orders
- Safety Planning
- Resources and Information
- Arrange emergency, temporary housing, transportation, and food needs
- Dispatch advocates on-call to hospital or law enforcement agencies as needed
The crisis line is operated every weekday from 4PM to 8AM the next morning, and day and night on Saturdays and Sundays. Because of the training required Someplace Safe requires a minimum time commitment of once per month for one year.
