The MDH Adolescent and School Health Unit is hosting a Poverty Simulation experience at a school nurse regional meeting. The intended audience is all student support personnel (school nurses, social workers, counselors, and psychs) from surrounding districts. In order to successfully run this event, I am looking for 16-17 volunteers to assume the 'role' of various community members/programs.
Volunteers will receive a one-hour orientation right before the event in which we'll describe the event, hand out and review packet contents, and familiarize everyone with the role they are portraying.
