Who We Are
Safe Exchanges
Safe exchanges are available for families in which children need to be exchanged between parents, usually for weekend or holiday visits. Families experiencing these situations can utilize the by Giant Savings" href="#">PTC as a safe alternative to conflicted confrontations, or exchanging children in parking lots, at police stations, fast food restaurants, and other public areas. PTC staff facilitate the physical exchange of the child(ren) and maintain a strict, no-contact policy for parents while at the PTC. Parents wait in separate areas while staff walk children from one parent to the other, eliminating any opportunity for face-to-face contact or other communications.
Supervised Parenting Time
Supervised parenting time (visitation) is for families in which the parent(s) is/are not allowed to be with their child(ren) unsupervised. Parents who are court-ordered to have supervised parenting time with their child(ren) can do so in an atmosphere conducive to healthy parent-child interaction. Visits are scheduled by PTC staff, with input from parents, for set dates and durations. Trained staff are present to observe and document what takes place at each visit.
Supervised Phone Calls
This service is available to parents or children making by Giant Savings" href="#">phone contact where supervision is required. PTC Staff is present to document what takes place during each supervised phone contact.
Contact Exchanges
This service is available to families who are allowed to have contact, but are in need of by Giant Savings" href="#">assistance exchanging children. Parents meet at Parenting Time Center at a scheduled time to exchange children. PTC Staff is present during the exchange.
Scheduling
This service is available for families in need of a neutral third party ONLY to prepare a monthly schedule based upon their Court Order or other mutual agreement.
Skype Visits
This service is available to families to provide an alternative opportunity for parenting time via Skype, an online video-calling service, when circumstances prevent physical contact. This contact may be supervised or unsupervised, based on the family’s needs or existing Court Orders. This program will be piloted in the Pope County Parenting Time Center, with the potential to expand to other by Giant Savings" href="#">locations based on requests and need.
