Who We Are
The Salvation Army is an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. It's message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
What We Do
The Northern Division serves anyone in need in Minnesota and North Dakota. Local service units are supervised by a field representative and strengthened by community members who volunteer their time. The types of assistance we can provide are:
Temporary basic needs support in a crisis situation, clothing and furniture vouchers, utility programs, emergency lodging and transportation.
Annual programs include:
Summer camps, back-to-school supply drives, Angel Tree Christmas gift collections, Holiday visits with seniors
