As a thank you, you’ll be able to watch the show for free the night that you volunteer and you’ll be invited to the annual Volunteer Appreciation event, along with other perks and benefits.

The Activities Coordinator would work directly with the TLHD Executive Director. The Activities Coordinator would plan and schedule the activities, coordinating with members of the community that would like to participate or host.  

Other volunteers may assist, but we'd ideally like one person to take the lead as the Coordinator.

Because of the amount of training required we request that volunteer advocates make a minimum time commitment of one day per month for one year.  Daytime hours from 8AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday.

Volunteers needed 2-4 hours throughout the week to assist with pricing and merchandising linens at the Someplace Safe Thrift Store. Volunteering can be done anytime the store is open Monday-Fridays 10am-8pm or Saturdays 10am-6pm. Training under an existing volunteer for at least 4 hours is required. This is a great opportunity for friends that would like to volunteer together and get to socialize. Volunteers also get to enjoy a 25% discount when completing a 2 hour shift.
